A ceremony for the distribution of Qurbani meat to fourteen (14) eligible staffs of the Lands Department was held Monday afternoon, 03rd August 2020. The event took place at Labuhan Kapal Conference Room, 4th Floor, Lands Department, Pembangunan Road, Berakas.
The Qurbani meat was courtesy of the Ministry of Development’s and its Departments’ annual Eid-Ul Adha sacrificial participation, which was organized on the same day by the Town and Country Planning Department.
The ceremony was chaired by Yang Mulia, Dayang Hajah Maslina binti Haji Abu Bakar, Acting Deputy Land Commissioner and was attended by Senior Officers of the Department.
The ceremony began at 2:15 pm with Takbir Eid-Ul Adha and recitation of the Do’a Selamat by Yang Mulia, Awang Haji Muhammad bin Haji Mohd. Harun, followed by the distribution of Qurbani meat to all of the recipients.

The event was concluded with a photo-taking session and the recitation of Surah Al-Asr.
